What is the Early Sports Management Clinic (ESIM)?
At Beachbox Physiotherapy you will be able to access a qualified, experienced physiotherapist for a fraction of the normal cost.
The ESIM clinic allows athletes to get a screening assessment on the Monday night after weekend games. It is not for treatment, rather it is to help you understand the expected time frame for recovery and what management is required.
Often, only advice is required. However, for those with more significant injuries, they may be required to return for treatment or be referred on for x-rays, scans or specialist opinion.

I can’t really walk; can I borrow some crutches?
We have crutches available for hire, fitted by a physiotherapist.
Do I have to book in? And how much will it cost me?
Yes, you do, you should also let your coach know you are attending the clinic and bring your coaches contact details. You can book in either by calling us on 9036-7700, by booking online via our appointment page, or via our Beachbox Physiotherapy App. We opperate the ESIM clinic Monday evenings usually from 6.30-7.30pm, and will cost you a small fee of $20.
I’ve just got a niggle, is that ok to come in?
Yes, it’s better that you come and get it checked out before it becomes something more significant.
Is this clinic open to everyone?
No, this clinic is specifically for local sporting teams. You will need to provide proof of your membership of the club.
